It is being able to notice and reflect on your own internal state. You may notice yourself little tensed up as you are preparing for an important seminar or speech. Noticing the physical sensations and correctly attributing them to your anxiety about the seminar or speech can be an example of private self-awareness.

When self-awareness turns into self-consciousness, we develop our Personality.

2. Public Self-Awareness

Public Self-Awareness is being aware of how we can appear to others. Because of this consciousness, we are more likely to behave in ways that are socially acceptable, and we can get a good personality.

There are many benefits to have this type of awareness but there is also the danger to spend too much time worrying about what others think of us. So, for better self-awareness we should grow our knowledge every time.

According to research, when we look inward, we can clarify our values, thoughts, feelings, behaviors, strengths, and weaknesses. We are able to recognize the effect that we have on others. The research finds that people with self-awareness are happier and have better relationships. They also experience a sense of personal and social control.   • Parents and Teachers can help children and Youngs to Explore how to identify their unique strengths, talents, and abilities. Encourage them to focus on what makes them stand out and how they can utilize their strengths in various aspects of life.

 2. Introduce Mindfulness Practices for Students

  • Introduce mindfulness techniques such as

meditation,

deep breathing,

Drawing & Painting

and staying in present.

  • Explain them  how mindfulness can increase focus, reduce stress, improve concentration for their studies and overall well-being.
  • Set a routine for them to practice mindfulness techniques daily.

3. Keep a journal
